Description:

The Red Road Membership List is made up of Aboriginal AIDS Service Organizations (ASO), Community Based Organizations who have HIV/AIDS programs, and Aboriginal Persons Living with AIDS (APHA).

Our members are spread throughout British Columbia reaching as far north as Fort Nelson, south to Port Alberni, east to Cranbrook and northwest to Hazelton. We also have members in the Yukon. (See our GIS image map for a spatial visual of our member locations)

ENTITLEMENTS

FULL MEMBERSHIP: $50.00
Aboriginal AIDS Service Organization, Aboriginal Organizations, and/or Non-Aboriginal AIDS Service Organization with Aboriginal HIV programs.

  1. Are provided a forum to present issues to RRHAN Quarterly Meetings, AGM or to the Coordinator.
  2. Votes at the RRHAN AGM.
  3. Participates in committees, stand for election and nominate individuals to RRHAN Council.
  4. Participates in Skills Building and Information Sharing.
  5. Receives regular RRHAN mailings, communiqués, and information updates.
  6. May apply for travel subsidies subject to need as directed by Council/Coordinator.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: $25.00
Any non-Aboriginal person, organization or corporation that is organized for the purpose of addressing HIV/AIDS Issues, that has paid its membership dues and has been appointed as such by the Council. (Non-voting rights)

  1. Are provided a forum to present issues to RRHAN Quarterly Meetings, AGM or to the Coordinator.
  2. Participates in Skills Building and Information Sharing.
  3. Receives regular mailings, communiqués and information updates.

INDIVIDUAL: $5.00

  1. Are provided a forum to present issues to RRHAN Quarterly Meetings, AGM or to the Coordinator.
  2. Participates in Skills Building and Information Sharing.
  3. Receives regular mailings, communiqués and information updates.
  4. Votes at the RRHAN AGM.

APHA: (By donation)
An Aboriginal Person Living with HIV/AIDS (By donation)

  1. Are provided a forum to present advocacy issues to RRHAN Quarterly Meetings, AGM or to the Coordinator.
  2. Votes at the RRHAN AGM.
  3. Participates in committees, stand for election and the right to nominate individuals to RRHAN Council.
  4. Participate in Skills Building and Information Sharing.
  5. Receive regular RRHAN mailings, communiqués, and information updates.
  6. To travel subsidies subject to need as directed by Council/Coordinator.
